Last Updated: June 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy is provided by Kalenux Bilisim Hizmetleri Ticaret Limited Sirketi ("Kalenux", "we", "us"), a software company registered in Istanbul, Turkey. It explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our websites and software products, including the Kalenux SEO Audit tool at kalenux.com.tr. Contact us at emirbaycan@kalenux.com.tr. See also our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide our services, process payments, and keep our products secure and reliable.

Information you provide

  • Account information: name, email address, and password.
  • Site/project data: the website URLs you add to audit, and the verification token you install to prove ownership.
  • Payment information: billing details are collected and processed by our payment provider, Creem. Kalenux never sees or stores your full card number.
  • Support communications: emails and messages you send our support team.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: features used, audits run, and actions within the app.
  • Device & technical data: browser, operating system, and screen settings.
  • Network data: IP address and city/country-level location.
  • Logs: access times, error logs, and diagnostics for security.
  • Cookies: session and authentication tokens.

Information We Don't Collect

  • Precise geolocation (GPS), biometric data, or government IDs
  • Full payment card numbers (handled entirely by Creem)
  • Health, political, or religious information
  • Data from children under 16

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our software and run the audits you request.
  • To create and manage your account and credit balance.
  • To process payments and send receipts (via Creem).
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To secure our services, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
  • To send essential service emails (account, billing, and security notices).

3. How Payments Work

Our payments are processed by Armitage Labs OU ("Creem"), who acts as the Merchant of Record. Creem is the seller of record, handles checkout, collects payment, and manages invoicing, sales tax/VAT, and refunds. When you buy credits or a subscription, your payment details are provided directly to Creem under Creem's buyer terms and privacy policy. We receive only the information needed to fulfil your order.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — our payment provider (Creem), cloud hosting, and email delivery — and only as needed to provide the service, or where required by law.

5. Data Retention & Security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal/accounting obligations. We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data. You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us.

6. Your Rights (incl. GDPR / UK GDPR)

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email emirbaycan@kalenux.com.tr; we respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies (to log you in securely), optional analytics cookies (only with consent), and checkout cookies set by Creem to complete payments. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
